“more arms and legs and hearts maybe spewing forth in material world.” This is the good stuff!! Just a bunch of arms and hearts making their way through the madness. Excellent photo choices!

Oh, Appleton! Reading your essay on a Saturday afternoon is such a delight. I love the title and the song. Your writing is thoughtful and lyrical, conveying all the relevant feelings beautifully. xx.

Omg! I’ve seen that row of mailboxes! I recall passing it every time we drove north to the peninsula of WI… or am I confusing it for another?

Narrative chunks like blocks of Wisconsin cheese.😂 Love that.

Beautiful, graceful, earthy writing. Poetic also. This was a good share: "the desire to recount EXACTLY IN THE MOMENT our emotional and physical reality or succumb to the "maze-driven mania of organising the past into decipherable narrative chunks. Think blocks of cheese from over in Wisconsin...." I try to watch how other writers arrange things. I watch how I do and I try to do it in a less making sense way, for some reason I like that and am a bit bored of three blocks of cheese. Your writing is never boring.
