I think the end game of being desired is the consummation of desire -- ideally in a domestic where both are willing to get up and bring the other ice cream.

I am sorry for your loss, Appleton. I don't think anything or anyone can replace an old friend and the longer you get to stick around, the more you lose.

regardless ill add my own days of acting "disconsolate

suitor" are waning in favor of just that kind of domestic ease 🫠😉

-- I love the natural voice inside this piece. The breath of time can work unexpectedly. We might overlook many signs or pay way too much attention to things that are out of our hands. Also, I think we all have an 'acting' gene inside us, but what changes are the roles we accept to play in the big movie of life. Thank you. ✨️

P.S. Huron could star in one of those dog movies I love to cry about.

-- Both are so deeply touching. I love dogs, and as an only child, I had a poodle friend I loved so much during my young years. However, "The Incredible Journey" touches me on a place of resilience. About 6 months ago, I watched another one called "A Dog's Way Home," and it portrayed the determined journey and firm decision of finding a way to your loved ones. I confess that I cried! 😅 I think dog movies speak so much about us humans too.

What a treat to see myself here…all I’ll say is at least our family sacrifices came at the cost of real talent and not a Days of Our Lives audition where “getting the part” means sliding back in time to an era when women belonged only in (ugly) kitchens. How I wish you could head to that ‘set’ with a sledgehammer.

growing up immersed in that reality and seeing absorbing effort required i guess one sets it apart from yes that

barbaric culture (which clings yet maga tenacious bad weeds)

and you must suspect grabbing a sledge has always been my fav. part of any job...unlike writing its point A to B....ill need your continued guidance...patience? 😊

Enjoyed the song. She’s someone I’ll listen to, and after reading this I understand why it flowed.

Must say I feel I’m eavesdropping when I read your work. In my defense you always make me think about life as you describe it. I know loss though I’ve become more philosophical than sad about it.

thats the healthiest way....as for eaves dropping i do appreciate that genuine description...flattery even

as i must restrain the full throated whine-assing lingering on periphery of this stuff 🤣🫡❣️
